Description
Aeromedical Emergency Services Ltd. is currently seeking casual and full time experienced ACP's, PCP's, and EMR's to join our team in Northern Alberta. The successful candidates will provide emergency medical services to a diverse population, including Indigenous communities.
Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide medical assistance as needed
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to determine the best course of action
- Work collaboratively with other fist responders, such as firefighters and police officers. to provide the best possible care to patients
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information and reassurance
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and transport
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized paramedic program
- Valid registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
- Valid Class 4 Alberta Driver's license
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Compassion and strong communication skills to interact with a diverse population
- Willingness to work in remote locations and under challenging conditions, including outdoor and wilderness environments
